andylangham.comAndy Langham was born in Seattle, but grew up in Washington DC area, Yuma Arizona, and San Antonio. He studied Jazz Perfomance at The University of North Texas, and Audio Engineering at Texas State University. Since, he has performed all over the world with an extremely diverse group of artists at venues such as The Grand Ole Opry, the North Sea Jazz Festival, and the Montreux Jazz Festival. Andy has worked with R&B legends The Platters, The Coasters, The Diamonds; international artists Charo, Flaco Jimenez, Emilio Navaira; country legends Willie Nelson, Johnny Bush, Ray Price (which he served as musical director 2001-2002;) Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and jazz stars Arthur Blythe, Dewey Redman, Ernie Watts, Randy Brecker, Ravi Coltrane, Tom Harrell, Gary Bartz, Mike Stern, John Abercrombie, Larry Coryell, Sam Rivers, Dave Liebman, Terry Gibbs, Clark Terry, Steve Turre, Jon Hendricks, and James Moody. He has played on jingles for Burger King, Coors Light, and Lone Star Light, and his theater credits include performances with Disney's touring Broadway musical Aida starring Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees. In 2002, Andy performed at the wedding of Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson. ![]() |
